Welcome to Your Authentic Self

Hello! Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening! Whatever time of day it is, or wherever you are in the world, thank you for becoming a part of my world. I have never really taken time to explore my “Being”, so I created this as a way of sharing and expressing my thoughts and ideas in the hopes of helping others create in their lives at a higher level.

In relationship to how and why I came up with the phrase, BE – PLAY – HAVE – this is in relationship to the order that creation exists in. I have always been operating from DO – HAVE – BE. If I do the work, then I can have the experiences and the possessions that come from the hustle. As I finished 2016 strong, nearly missing the 6 figure mark for the second time in a row, I started to question this order. Through many different mentors and experiences, It’s come to my attention that in order to reach a whole new level of life, I must change how I look at things and experience life.

The BEING always has to come first. Through the many different goal programs and processes, there is the hopes of creating new results, but that comes only through creating a new version of ourselves. By using the principles of the law of attraction there has been one slight error in how I operate, and that’s in forgetting/bypassing the part of the equation that jumpstarts the journey. The visualization/knowing that the experience or thing that we want to attract to us already exists in us and we can choose to feel it or “vibrate” on the same frequency and bring that “thing” to us.

For me, I’ve always had the goal of earning more money. If I could find a way to earn money, I’d “have it all.” The error in this thinking is that life is a journey. It’s something that I had stubbornly chosen to ignore and through learning to restructure how I live, and apply myself daily, I first choose to answer some basic questions in my morning routing.

What am I grateful for?

What do I want?

Who must I become to achieve what I want?

These three central questions help me get into a state of being, and a focused attention. First on what’s great about my life right now, and learning to think small about what I do have. Then dream about what I want life to look like and create a mental picture of what I am working towards. Then think about who I have to become – the qualities I must employ to create and live the life. The beauty is that as I grow and develop new awarenesses I change and course correct, I allow myself to continue to add and change what I want but gratitude remains a central focus for how I start my day.

I continually thought that earning an amount of money is somehow going to be “the end” or create that fulfillment in my life experience. The truth is this journey continues. Each day is a new experience and a chance to share your highest good and learn how to serve in a new and different way. For me a big part my experience has improved by joining up with a group we call M1 : March to a Million. A tribe of folks who are also on the “Whole Life” path and learn to work on themselves from the inside out. To create experiences and business as well as families and lives that are of an “epic” experience.

Develop Standards

Develop the standards of life that you live. This idea comes from Tony Robbins on self-mastery, (the link to the video will be at the end), which for me is an ever-present lesson on raising my life’s enjoyment. Learning to operate my life from a set of standards is something that isn’t taught nor is it encouraged or supported in our daily hustle. I believe it’s one of the most difficult tasks to begin. Epic Rituals deals with our life habits, which unless we’re able, to be honest with ourselves and be nonjudgemental, learning how to change who we are and what we do becomes quite the chore.

Here are a few of mine in what I consider the most important areas:

Health: Eat clean 90% of the time. For me this is a Ketogenic way of eating, high fat low carb. I exercise 4-5 times per week. Gym or Running or DailyBurn Home workout.
Business: Meet 3 new people each week. Create 4-5 New Deals each month. Add 2 new investments to my portfolio each year.
Relationships: Self-love. Be a light to the world. Share my gold with every individual I come into contact with. Invite friends weekly to connect and bond. Make it to Chicago 4 times per year minimum to connect with family.
Adventures: Take one small adventure per month. Go on two big adventures 7-14 days each.
Contribution: Lead and mentor others in my office and donate to worthy causes/nonprofits 3-6 times per year. Donate to a cause for each transaction.

Develop Goals

Create a list of goals. Narrow it down to the top 12 and focus on 2-3 per week. Look at the complete list and break down the necessary steps/tasks each week to make sure that you’re taking action each day towards living the vision of your life. The goals should represent your vision.
